Not just fish and chips...

Here is a snapshot what we had for our meals in England...

Since we started the journey with Geoff being under the weather, Pat wisely had packed some instant noodles. These proved to be our source of quick meals and comfort food at the manor and beyond...

We did have regular English sausages and eggs, mince beef pies, bagels all purchased from Tesco supermarket down the street.

But we did have some traditional English fare before we went sightseeing on Friday the 6 of June.

We went to a mall called Westfield near Richmond Upon Thames and found a Malaysian restaurant called Penang for our first dinner out on 4th of June 2014.

A taste of home to comfort the weary travellers
We ordered Char Kway Teow, Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng Penang and Tenggiri fillets. All tasted quite authentic. Geoffrey was so exhausted from all the travelling and the seven-hour time difference that he fell asleep during dinner.

Elder Paul Skaife invited our family to dinner for Friday 6 June. We had Northern Indian takeaway.  The deep fried samosas from the supermarket were delectable! We had lamb vindaloo, salmon tikka, dahl curry, saag paneer (spinach and cheese), naan, papadums and dahl curry.
